Meet The Team

Pratima JoshiPrimary Team

Pratima Joshi has joined our family since 2013. She had served as a preschool teacher prior to joining the Primary Team at CWBM. Pratima completed her Early Childhood Education Credits and also earned her Assistant Teacher's Certification from the Association Montessori Internationale.  Pratima brings a calm, compassionate and gentle presence to the environment. She is also committed to partner with parents and provide a nurturing family atmosphere to children. Only through a loving environment that children can feel secure and are able to expand their creativity and express themselves freely.

Karen PerezToddler Team

Karen Perez is passionate about working with children. Karen has joined the toddler team in 2017 but her connection with CWBM goes back to 2012. Karen holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock, Texas and she holds a diploma for 3-6 years from AMI Montessori Teaching Diplomas for the 3-6yr levels. Karen feels that working with children has been part of the greatest blessings in her life and she believes that helping support children and their families are some of the most important work our society can do. In her spare time, Karen serves in homeless ministry and children’s ministry at her church.

Vera Jin Toddler Team

Vera Jin served as an after school teacher prior joining the Toddler team. She started working at CWBM in February 2014 and truly feels her teammates are a part of her own family. Her favorite thing about teaching toddlers is to see the smiles shown on their faces when singing a song, or the connection and bonding from helping a child to complete a task. Vera is often amazed to see the great potential and capability from the toddlers. In her free time, Vera enjoys cooking, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.

Gloria Teachers’ Aid

Gloria joined our family since 2013. Being a mom of three grown children and many grandchildren, she is naturally like a house mom and house grandmother to our community. Gloria’s role is essential to us, she supports her teammates in all the necessary ways, and also helps the children prepare meals, snacks, and set up nap room, etc. People often ask Gloria’s secrets of staying young. She humbly said yes, it is true that staying healthy and active is are important from aging. Her secrets for looking and feeling young is to “work”, but not all type of work, it’s a type of work that makes one feels purposeful and also brings a laughter and sense of joy to her. For Gloria, she has found that working with her teammates and the children in CWBM is her youth source. Gloria also has a magical green thumb. She brings colors into different seasons..
